ok so this girl im goin after and she likes to talk to me, but im afraid ive been put in the friend zone. i asked her if she wanted to chill with me over the weekend, and at first she thought it was a really good idea. she said she was busy, and that she would try to "pencil me in". well needless to say, it didnt happen. since then i havent talked to her much, but it was only about a week ago. im wondering if i let it go too long without talking to her, and if so, is there something i can do about it? she has a boyfriend, but hes in college and shes in high school. he goes to college about an hour away and she said that he complains that she can never visit and says that its her fault. i know for a fact that it isnt. i was wondering if theres some way to use this to my advantage. thanks yall.

Pencil you in?
1) Don't mention or sweat the boyfriend. 2) Call her, tell her you've got some free time if she wants to meet with you. 3) If she hems and haws, tell her, "Nice talking with you. I've got to go." If she doesn't respond, move on and forget her. No Oneitis! Normally I give them two chances, then the onus is on them. Then if I've got time, MAYBE I'll let them into my life. |
