Default Destined to fail

I started working out for the sole purpose of looking more attractive to women. I bulked up gaining 60 lbs over the course of 2 years, mostly muscle as my abs were still visible. Then I stopped.

Funny thing was, when I stopped working out, girls DIDN'T stop feeling attraction for me. Come to think of it, most of the people that noticed the change in my body were actually other guys, haha.

Point is, if you are only working out to get a better body for girls, you are destined to burn out eventually because the motivation for change needs to be stronger than something petty like that. You should want to change your body enough to go to the gym, and be doing it for yourself, not other people. Since I stopped working out, I lost about 20 lbs. I'm back to being a normal guy, still cut, but not muscular. It really hasn't hurt my game as it seems, in fact, most guys I see doing great with women are emaciated looking fuckers with chicken nugget abs (I'm not THAT skinny).

I was destined to fail when I started weightlifting because I didn't do it to be healthy, I didn't do it cause I wanted to be stronger, I just did it so girls would rub my abs and lick my nipples. It isn't worth the way I had to watch what I ate, following a strict workout plan, and changing other aspects of my life. Not worth it just for girls. So guys, think about why you want to lift before you do it.

Obviously though, if you are disgustingly skinny/overweight, it is a good idea to get into some sort of shape as girls do care to a certain extent. But the difference between muscular me and skinny me as far as girls go... absolutely nothing.

Input if you think I'm right or wrong, this is just my own personal experience.

PS. Also, not sure how I came off, but if you are working out to be healthy or because you enjoy the changes you make to your own body, gaining confidence whatever, more power to ya. I'm only talking about doing it for the sole purpose of impressing girls.

A serious workout routine is not to be overlooked. The benefits far outweigh doing it just to get women to look at you more. I believe everyone should be at least semi-involved in some type of physical activity (running/swimming/anaerobic training/yoga/etc.)

Agreed. I do play soccer and swim - though obviously it leaves me more lean than bulky.

I have a problem gaining weight, i've been trying to gain weight for 2 years. Only went up 10 pounds the entire process. but those 10 pounds are the best looking pounds i ever put on lol. Im trying to hit 155 and stay there. Currently weigh 143.

When i first started out, i only worked out because it was to look good for the ladies, but now i just do it because i feel much more better when i do. I can take out all my energy and anger built up from all my life surroundings and get rid of some of that testosterone . Also, you feel good when you look good, thats how i feel.

ANy tips for gaining weight?

Chicken, beef, pretty much anything on the table really. i even eat alot of fast food, and i dont even seem to be gaining weight. It sucks to have high metabolism. The quicker it comes in, the quicker it goes out lol.
